Due to a leg injury, Adrian Peterson left Vikings practice early.
During 11-on-11 practice, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was injured on a carry. Peterson, who was bent over awkwardly, limped off of the field and towards trainers. The injury, which appears to have happened to his right knee, seemed slight as Peterson retook the field on another play. However, Peterson then left the field with head trainer Eric Sugarman. While the trainer did return to the field indicating that the injury may not be serious, they have yet to release an official statement.
