NORMAN, Okla. — After the most disappointing campaign of his tenure, Bob Stoops, the model of consistency in college football over the last 15 years, made wholesale changes at Oklahoma in the offseason.

He ditched offensive coordinators Josh Heupel and Jay Norvell (now the play-caller at Texas) and brought in 31-year-old Lincoln Riley to bring back the air raid.
