Taking stock of Week 7 in the Big 12:
Team of the week: After being stuck in the Oklahoma City airport for more than eight hours in a flight delay Friday night, Oklahoma would have had an excuse to be groggy Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Instead, the Sooners arrived wide awake and hungry for purple blood, completely undressing K-State, 55-0. Quarterback Baker Mayfield was flawless, the receivers produced big plays and the OU defense overwhelmed the Wildcats. If the Sooners play like they did in Manhattan the rest of the way, they could win the Big 12.
