Where's the drama? For a week in the Big 12, it disappeared as Saturday brought us decisive victories for Baylor, West Virginia, Oklahoma and Texas.
Perhaps the eight teams in play wanted to give us a breather ahead of the action to come early this week, with the Big 12 presidents and chancellors set to meet Monday on league expansion.
Here are the power rankings after Week 7:
1. Baylor (previous ranking: 1): Sandwiched between open dates, the Bears got another week off -- from a quality opponent, at least. Seth Russell threw a pair of touchdowns and rushed for two scores, and cornerback Ryan Reid intercepted two passes in the Bears’ 49-7 win over Kansas.
