Fortunately for the league, Texas hitched its hopes to an 18-wheeler in overtime and rode the magic of a two-quarterback system to a double-overtime win over Notre Dame. Because the two previous premier games didn’t go so well as Stanford defeated Kansas State on Friday and Houston undressed Oklahoma on Saturday at NRG Stadium.
Week 2 offers a lighter menu in the Big 12, though it still features some intrigue.
