FORT WORTH, Texas -- At TCU, success is measured on a large white pyramid framed and hung in the team meeting room.
The base levels list the program's standards: attitude, chemistry, family, accountability. The level above lists the non-conference slate, then the Big 12 home games, then the road games, then the big goals: go to a bowl, win a bowl, go to the playoff and, finally, "#1 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS."
Each time they win, the Frogs shade in the corresponding section of the pyramid in purple. It’s a daily reminder of what they have accomplished. The pyramids in 2014 and 2015 filled up fast during the program’s 23-3 run.
