Big 12 Recruiting Roundup: Texas May Lose 5-Star OT, JUCO WR Commits To Oklahoma & More

The Big 12 has emerged as one of the most dominant conferences in the country, and their collective recruiting efforts have played a big part in that. As all 10 schools try to put the finishing touches on their classes, here's the latest news and rumors with two months until National Signing Day:

Texas may lose 5-star OT
The Texas Longhorns have been the leader for five-star offensive tackle Walker Little (Bellaire, TX) for some time, but that may not be the case anymore. He is set to announce his decision on Friday, and E.J. Holland of 247sports thinks that Little will end up signing with Stanford.

Five-star Houston Bellaire Episcopal offensive tackle Walker Little is still set to make a decision on Friday. The family had another long discussion about his commitment over the last 24 hours. As of right now, I am no longer feeling confident in my Texas pick. Both schools are still very much in play but if I had to give a final pick, it would now be Stanford.

The 6-foot-8, 305-pounder is ranked as the No. 4 offensive tackle and No. 18 overall prospect in the country.

JUCO WR commits to Oklahoma
College of the Canyons four-star wide receiver Marquise Brown announced his commitment to Oklahoma over West Virginia. His teammate, 2018 four-star athlete Xavier Williams tweeted out the news.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder is ranked as the No. 3 JUCO wide receiver and the No. 14 overall JUCO prospect.

WVU in mix for nation's No. 5 CB
Four-star cornerback Lamont Wade (Clinton, PA) is set to announce his college decision on Saturday, and is expected to commit to either Penn State or West Virginia. The Mountaineers are losing four of their top five cornerbacks from this past season's team, giving him the opportunity to play right away.

The 5-foot-9, 190-pounder is ranked as the No. 5 cornerback and No. 50 overall prospect in the country.
