The Big 12 is one of the most storied conferences in college football as all 10 teams are loaded with the talent that comes from having most of the nation's top recruiting classes every year. 3) Jovon Durante, WR, West Virginia Mountaineers
Durante has cooled off since breaking onto the scene with a 121-yard, 1-TD performance in WVU's season-opening win, but 6'1" speedster is still a major threat every time he steps on the field.
2) Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas Longhorns
Jefferson was the face of this recruiting class for Texas and has taken over the leadership role of the Longhorns defense. He's notched 37 tackles and two sacks through the first six games of the season, and will only have a greater impact as the season wears on and he gets more experience under his belt.
1) KaVontae Turpin, WR, TCU Horned Frogs
Turpin has been a lightning rod for TCU this year, catching 18 passes for 338 yards and six touchdowns - four of which came in their blowout victory over Texas. Along with being a dynamic wideout, TCU has used him some in the running game, adding to his effectiveness.
