Why Matt Rhule wants to do for Baylor what Bill O'Brien did for Penn State

Before Temple head coach Matt Rhule took the Baylor head coaching job, there were questions about whether the university's ongoing sexual assault scandal -- which the football program has been at the heart of -- would discourage coaches from taking the job.

That question was answered when Rhule chose to move to Waco over an aggressive recruitment from Oregon.

Rhule is not a stranger to this kind of rebuilding, having watched his alma mater Penn State go through a similar situation with its child molestation scandal involving the football program.

It was an outsider, current Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien, who agreed to go to Penn State to help guide it through the scandal.
