Best player in the class

Running back Craig "Sqwirl" Williams: In limited action, Williams speed has already shown the potential to be lethal. He only saw the field once in 2018, but impressed with two carries for 35 yards and a crucial touchdown that helped the Bears beat Kansas State in his college debut.

Most surprising player in the class

Wide receiver Tyquan Thornton: Surprisingly, Thornton has appeared in all 11 games this season and came up with some key catches in crucial moments for the Bears.
