The Rangers have made another selection in the MLB draft.
In the collection of competitive balance picks that followed the compensatory picks that followed the usual first round, the Texas Rangers selected Baylor third baseman Davis Wendzel with the No. 41 overall pick.
Wendzel, a junior from San Clemente, Calif., was the Big 12's Co-Player of the Year in 2019 along with the Rangers' top pick Josh Jung.
