Last week we were incredibly excited for our Baylor Bears to face off against the Houston Cougars. Call it youthful exuberance, naivety or whatever you want, but we just didn’t see it coming. Things were tracking in the right direction, numbers looked really good, then BAM! A little after 1pm central last Friday, it was all over. At least, the game against Houston was.
Naturally, we’re a little more guarded with our feelings this week. We don’t want to be caught flat-footed by bad news this time, so we’re staying measured with our excitement while looking ahead to playing the Kansas Jayhawks.
