Irving MacArthur five-star basketball recruit Hannah Gusters announced on Twitter on Monday night that she committed to NCAA champion Baylor.
Baylor finished 37-1 after beating Notre Dame 82-81 in the national championship game. Baylor has won national titles in 2005, 2012 and 2019 for coach Kim Mulkey.
Baylor's current roster has two Dallas-area products -- third-team Associated Press All-American Lauren Cox from Flower Mound and redshirt freshman Trinity Oliver from Euless Trinity. Cox, a 6-4 junior forward who was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, suffered a knee injury (MCL sprain) in the national title game but won't need surgery, according to ESPN.
