No matter what the calendar says, Matt Rhule's start at Baylor seems a long, long time ago.
Rhule was officially hired at Baylor in December 2016. That's real time. Program time is something else, which hit Rhule the evening before his third appearance at Big 12 media days.
"It seems a long time ago and feels like a lifetime ago," Rhule said.
The focus now more than ever is on what Rhule has created not what he inherited.
Baylor moved from one victory in 2017 to seven wins last season.
Off the field, Rhule ticked off all kinds of team accomplishments, from an all-time best GPA with 33 different majors to 839 hours of community service.
