FRISCO - Matt Rhule had far more on his plate than he could have imagined in his first season as Baylor football's coach.
Beyond the learning curve that accompanies every new job, Rhule was part of addressing the sexual assault scandal that came before him and making sure that it never, ever happened again. It was important work, Rhule knew, but immensely time consuming as well.
"I would tell you the first couple games last year, I was on the sidelines kind of a cheerleader," Rhule said at Big 12 media days. "I was in meetings Tuesday and Wednesday that weren't football meetings.
