The Dallas Wings have traded point guard Odyssey Sims to the Los Angeles Sparks for the No. 4 pick in April's WNBA draft, the team announced on Friday.
The Wings also sent the No. 11 pick to Los Angeles in exchange for a second-rounder.
Sims, a Baylor alum who went to high school at Irving MacArthur, averaged 14.0 points and 3.9 assists per game this past season, her third in the WNBA.
"We felt strongly the dynamic in roster needed to change for success in 2017," general manager Greg Bibb said, "We explored a lot of scenarios and we felt like this scenario provided best opportunity for future success.
