It was another busy recruiting week in D-FW.
Here are five takeaways.
1. Staying firm to Tech -- The firing of Kliff Kingsbury has resulted in just one decommit for the Red Raiders. There are currently five D-FW recruits committed to Texas Tech and all remain firm as of right now. Dallas Skyline athlete Velton Gardner did notch an offer from Houston this week and could see his stock rise before the early period. Four-star South Oak Cliff defensive end Steven Parker is the highest rated commit in Texas Tech's class, and it wouldn't be surprising to see other schools try to pry him away.
