Baylor has scored an important win in the Dallas-area.
The Bears came away with a commitment from three-star Colleyville Heritage offensive lineman Gavin Byers on Tuesday night.
Byers announced his decision via Twitter.

Byers committed to Baylor over offers from Arkansas, New Mexico, SMU, Syracuse and Tulsa.
Byers was a first team all-district selection as a junior and helped Colleyville Heritage reach the state playoffs.
