Radio host Colin Cowherd called for the Baylor football program to be shut down on his show The Herd with Colin Cowherd Tuesday.
Cowherd's statements come after a report that Baylor's associate athletic director Heath Nielsen was arrested for an alleged assault of a reporter after a Baylor's loss to TCU earlier this month.
"It's like, shut the Baylor program down. It's a disaster," Cowherd said. "It is an absolute disaster of a program. The safety of the media, the safety of women on campus. You gotta shut that program down.
"Baylor right now has not earned the right to be in a Power Five conference.
