West Virginia President Gordon Gee, the chairman of the Big 12 board of directors, said the Big 12 review of Baylor is getting closer to completion.
"Much less than a year and probably not tomorrow," Gee said, with Big 12 meetings ending Friday.
Said Bowlsby: "Baylor has done a tremendous job of responding to everything we asked for. I don't want to speak for President Gee, but I think we would like to move ahead as efficiently and as soon as we possibly can."
The conference has been reviewing Baylor's completion of the 105 recommendations in the Pepper Hamilton report regarding the school's football sexual assault scandal.
