Baylor’s Tristan Clark Named to All-Big 12 Team; Thoughts on Remaining Selections

The Big 12 released their All-Big 12 basketball selections, and Tristan Clark was selected for the first team. Clark is Baylor’s first preseason selection since Johnathan Motley in 2016-2017.

Joining Clark on the first team were Udoka Azubuike (Kansas and the preseason selection for player of the year), Devon Dotson (Kansas), Tyrese Haliburton (Iowa State) and Desmond Bane (TCU).

Clark was Baylor’s best player until he injured his knee against Iowa State in early January. The junior led the nation in field goal percentage at the time of his injury. Bart Torvik’s preseason projections have him and Dotson as the Big 12’s two best players.
