Texada had a breakout 2018 season for the Bears, racking up 32 tackles, six passes defended and a team-high 2 interceptions. If he continues his current trajectory, 2019 should be another solid year for Texada.
9. Niadre Zouzoua / Jr. / DE
Zouzoua fills an immediate need for the Bears up front to help compensate for the losses of Ira Lewis and Greg Roberts. Although he's a newcomer to Baylor, he's seasoned at his position. As a junior college transfer from Monroe College, Zouzoua posted 24 tackles, six tackles for a loss, five sacks and one forced fumble in 2018.
