Coming off a huge win over the then-#19 BYU Cougars on Homecoming in Waco, the Baylor Bears have leapt back into both major polls at #20. The Bears are off this week before welcoming the unranked Texas Longhorns to Waco on Saturday, October 30. The complete AP and Coaches’ Polls are available here and here, respectively.
Twentieth is the highest ranking yet for the Bears, who were previously ranked at #21 before the loss to Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Oklahoma State, for its part, is now up to #9 in the AP Poll and #8 in the Coaches’ Poll after their win over now-unranked Texas.
