Baylor soccer (8-3-5, 4-1-2) took down Iowa State University (4-10-0, 1-5-0) 2-0 in a match filled with physicality and foul calls.
“We always know Iowa State’s tough like that, they’re gritty,” graduate student midfielder Ally Henderson-Ashkinos said. “That’s just who they are, they play a lot like us in that way, so we know that they are always going to match us in physicality. This is my fifth year playing them, so I definitely know that by now. We know a lot of familiar faces every year, so we know what we’re getting into every year and it’s never easy.
