After losing quarterback's Anu Solomon and Zach Smith to injuries, and then transfers, Baylor desperately needed quarterback depth behind freshman Charlie Brewer.
This year Bohanon threw for over 2,200 yards and 34 TDs and added 1200 rushing yards. Bohanon ended his high school career with over 11,000 yards passing and 5,000 yards rushing according to the stats announced at his ceremony.
Bohanon is the prize of the Bears 2018 recruiting class as early signing day opens Dec. 20.
Bohanon committed to Baylor over offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Louisville, Auburn, Oregon, North Carolina, Alabama and a host of others.
