Baylor Lands 2020 4-Star Point Guard LJ Cryer

Baylor basketball landed their first commitment of the 2020 class: LJ Cryer, a 4-star guard from Katy, Texas.

Cryer is ranked 41st in his class by ESPN, 68th by 247 and 87th by Rivals. Corey Evans of Rivals broke the commitment, then Ashley Hodge of SicEm365 confirmed it.

Cryer told Rivals, “I picked Baylor because they’ve been recruiting me since the 8th grade,” he said. “I feel like we’ve built a great relationship and I’m glad to be a part of their family.”

Tons of top schools offered Cryer. LSU, Purdue, Houston, Oklahoma and Texas A&M, along with a host of other programs offered Cryer a scholarship.
