One week after an impressive win over Texas Tech, Baylor learned it will be playing in the Academy Sports and Outdoors Texas Bowl on Dec. 27th in Houston.
It is not yet known who the Bears' SEC opponent will be.
The Bears took a one-year hiatus from bowl season, finishing 2017 with a 1-11 record in head coach Matt Rhule's first season.
In year two, he set obtaining bowl eligibility as the bar and the Bears reached it in the final game of the regular season.
