The ten day layoff was not a problem for the Bears as they cruised to an 89-59 win over Southern.
Johnathan Motley opened with the first seven points of the game. Motley scored from everywhere, and led the Bears in scoring. Motley finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Nuni Omot played his first minutes as a Bear tonight. Omot earned a few more minutes tonight than he may get going forward because Terry Maston sat out because he was late to the game. Omot finished with eight points.
The Bears did well on the defensive end.
