Baylor coach Matt Rhule says dismissed players did 'nothing criminal'

After about 24 hours of drama and social-media driven rumor, Baylor first-year coach Matt Rhule provided a definitive answer Tuesday about his roster.

Senior offensive lineman Ish Wilson (Bishop Dunne) and junior defensive back Jourdan Blake (Princeton) have been dismissed from the program.

"I think it's important to note that it's nothing criminal," Rhule told reporters in Waco.

Junior running back Terence Williams (Ennis), who rushed for 1,000 yards last season, remains on the roster thanks to a reprieve from Rhule and the team's leadership council.

After a standout 2016 season, Williams has been slowed by an offseason shoulder injury and missed the first three games.
