After waiting in the on-deck circle for a couple of months, Baylor baseball is back on the Brazos River. The Bears will open the season with the 2024 Shriners Children’s College Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington this weekend. They will face Nebraska at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oregon at 11 a.m. on Saturday and No. 9 Tennessee at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
With a year under his belt, head coach Mitch Thompson enters year two with a new motto: “To be the best, you have to beat the best.
