Only a couple seasons ago, TCU was the definitive cream of the crop of Big 12 baseball. Last season, there seemed to be a changing of the guard when Baylor beat TCU in the Big 12 tournament. That momentum has carried over to this season, where the Bears absolutely ANNIHILATED the Horned Frogs in their weekend series. On the road no less.
In game one, Baylor beat TCU by a “modest” margin of 6-3. From there, the Bears completely opened the floodgates in games two and three. Baylor won by a mind boggling margin of 15-2 to ensure a series victory.
