Baylor came into Tuesday's meeting against Iowa State with a chance to sweep the season series from the No. 19 team in the nation and tie the Cyclones for fourth place in the conference standings.
The shorthanded Bears with only eight active players in their rotation did just that and now sit just a game-and-a-half behind first place in the Big 12 standings.
