Baltimore Ravens All-Pro right guard Marshal Yanda will begin the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, multiple outlets report.
The six-time Pro Bowler is recovering from a broken ankle suffered last year. Yanda played in two games last season before getting injured.
Yanda has started all 16 regular season games for the Ravens five times since the 2010 season.
Defensive end Brent Urban, tight end Vince Mayle, cornerback Jaylen Hill, linebacker Bam Bradley and wide receiver Quincy Adeboyejo are also starting the season on the PUP.
