Jeff Zerbiec of the Baltimore Sun first reported that Shareece Wright was inactive for the game against the Redskins. While it seemed like it was a benching after Wright’s tough game against the Raiders, Zerbiec’s Baltimore Sun colleague reported that back spasms were the reason for the Wright being active.
It is a little odd that Wright wasn’t on the injury report and yet an injury is keeping him off of the field. One way or another this is big news coming right before the kickoff. The Ravens will get a look at Will Davis at the cornerback position.
