What-If Wednesday: If the Ravens Trade a 1 for a 2 and a 3…

Okay, so I didn’t love Mike Renner’s picks for the Ravens in a recent mock draft for Pro Football Focus. Rather than just criticizing his choices, I thought it would be an interesting exercise to put together some alternate draft classes of would-be Ravens that would all bring unique qualities to Baltimore.

I stuck with Renner’s move to trade back from the 22nd overall selection to pick up the Rams’ second- and third-round picks, a move I could see the Ravens making on Draft Day. From there, let’s get into some draft classes!

The NEED Class

36th overall – Deonte Banks, CB, Maryland

69th overall – Zach Harrison, EDGE, Ohio State

86th overall – Rashee Rice, WR, SMU

Let’s start with a need-based draft class, headlined by Baltimore native Deonte Banks, who is already a fan-favorite of Flock Nation.
