Tucker reflects on surreal experience of football sans crowd

Justin Tucker's leg helped the Ravens to a 38-6 win over the Cleveland Browns to start their season. That part is normal. What wasn't normal? The silent cardboard cutouts surrounding the players instead of the raucous crowd at M&T Bank Stadium.

Speaking to Bobby Trosset, Tucker described the opener as a "unique experience."

"Lining up that first (point after touchdown), normally there’s--especially after a tough game at home--there’s a little bit of buzz," Tucker said. "Still kind of noisy, there’s that general hum throughout the crowd. Then we kick a ball, and there’s a little bit of a ‘wooo,’ that whole thing.
