Losing C.J. Mosley was a bitter pill to swallow for Ravens defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, particularly following the departure of captain Eric Weddle. Word is that the Ravens were willing to pony up $14M per for the 3-time Pro Bowl linebacker but $17M was a stretch – for everyone but Martindale, who is said to be furious with the club for letting Mosley get away.
A source close to RSR tells us that there’s a growing rift between Wink and John Harbaugh and if things don’t go well for the Ravens defense in 2019, there is likely to be a shakeup in the coaching staff.
