Super Bowl 50: Recipes to enhance your viewing experience

Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients:

15 Jalapeños cut in half

2 cups cream cheese

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

3 tablespoons minced garlic

1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Pre-Heat Oven to 300 degrees

Roast Jalapeños on sheet tray for 5 minutes

Heat vegetable oil in sauté pan to medium heat

Sautee peppers and garlic until soft

Let cool to room temperature

Mix cream cheese, parmesan cheese and add to pepper mixture

Add 1 tablespoon of the mixture to each half jalapeño

Top with half teaspoon mozzarella cheese

Meatballs and Marinara

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef, pork and lamb mixture

1 clove garlic

1 can crushed tomatoes

1/2 cup olive oil

1 tablespoon basil

1 tablespoon oregano

1 egg

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon crushed red pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Add 1/4 cup olive oil, crushed red pepper, 1/2 clove garlic, 1/2 tablespoon of basil, 1/2 tablespoon of oregano to saucepan

Bring to medium heat for 1 minute

Add crushed tomatoes and simmer

Add ground meats, 1/2 clove garlic, egg, breadcrumb, 1/2 clove garlic, 1/2 tablespoon basil, 1/2 tablespoon oregano to mixing bowl

Mix thoroughly and roll into golf ball sized balls

Bring olive oil to medium heat in saute' pan

Brown meatballs on all sides

Add to marinara sauce and simmer for 15 minutes

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients:

(3) 6 ounce skinless chicken breasts

1 cup cream cheese

1/2 cup blue cheese dressing

1 cup hot pepper sauce

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Boil chicken in water for 10 minutes

Chop chicken into small cubes

Mix chicken, hot sauce, blue cheese, cream cheese and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Add to casserole dish and top with 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
