The path to the NFL is never easy, but it was especially difficult for Douglas McNeil III (New Town). After attending four different colleges and playing in the Arena Football League, McNeil played on the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad before signing a reserve-futures deal with the team this winter.
Now, he is ready to help out the community in which he grew up. McNeil is holding his IDream Youth Football Camp on Saturday at New Town High School from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
"It's always been something I've wanted to do once I was in a position to give back," McNeil said.
