Rookie left tackle Ronnie Stanley adopts a puppy from shelter

This past weekend, Baltimore Ravens rookie tackle Ronnie Stanley visited Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter, Inc. With his girlfriend and teammate in-tow, Ronnie stated, "We are looking for a dog that's been here a long time and maybe not-so-adoptable". BARCS submit this as his wonderful request on their Facebook.

Shortly after seeing the line-up, Stanley drafted a six-year-old pitbull named Winter. The pup was found around two months ago locked inside a room with nothing to eat or drink. Now she'll be well taken care of from a young, budding NFL talent.

A BARCS spokesperson by the name of Baily Deacon is quite excited with Ronnie Stanley and his efforts, "If big, strong, cool Ronnie chooses adoption, so will those who look up to him," said Deacon.
