On Saturday, the Steelers returned two positive COVID-19 tests — one from starting RB James Conner and the other from a coach. This comes a day after three other players were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list: Stephon Tuitt, Isaiah Buggs, and Jerald Hawkins.
In total, this marks five total positive tests in two days and more Pittsburgh players could be placed on the reserve list, too, as there are reportedly multiple contacts.
RB James Conner, a cancer survivor, tested positive, per @AdamSchefter, as @AKinkhabwala reported.
