Report: Ravens OLB Jaylon Ferguson tests positive for COVID-19, team undergoing contact tracing

The Ravens are currently dealing with a possible COVID-19 outbreak after it was reported outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson has tested positive for the Coronavirus. The team will now undergo contract tracing to sort out those who are high-risk, close contacts.

Though Ferguson played only a single snap against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2, the possibility of more pass rushers becoming unavailable for their Week 3 matchup against the Detroit Lions could severely inhibit their defensive capabilities.

According to the NFL protocols, courtesy of FOX Baltimore’s Morgan Adsit, fully vaccinated players will not be designated as high-risk close contacts.
