Ravens defensive end Brent Urban has passed his physical and will not start training camp on the PUP list, per Jamison Hensley.
Urban suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury during Baltimore’s week three loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last year. Talent has never been an issue for Urban, but rather his health. In four seasons, he has only played in 25 games.
If Urban can stay healthy, he could significantly help the Ravens’ pass-rush. Baltimore failed to consistently replace the five tech spot following his injury. Given his injury history, Baltimore signed Urban to a one-year prove it type deal during the offseason.
