Marshal is a probable Hall of Famer and one of the most respected players in the Ravens locker room. His quiet leadership cannot be understated and he continues to perform at an All Pro level. We saw little drop off from him in 2018. The extension is beneficial in that it provides security and an anchor to a thin interior offensive line and in all likelihood, the extension will trigger more cap relief in 2019, which gives General Manager Eric DeCosta more flexibility to find free agent talent that might fall from rosters after the draft.
