Ravens whittle down players to 53-man roster: Who got cut

It wasn't a fun day for anyone involved, but the good news for some of the players cut is they'll be back with the team shortly -- some will be on the 53-man roster and eligible to play week one and the Ravens will sign 16 players to the practice squad.

But for a host of players, Tuesday marked the end of their football season -- and possibly their careers.

Some notable cuts made include cornerback Kevon Seymour, although this is not a reflection on what the Ravens think of him or his talents. Thanks to the complicated method of roster construction, a few injured players will initially make the 53-man roster, then transfer to the injured reserve list.
