During my daily scours of the internets, I always find myself checking out “On This Day In History” and came across a neat little Snapple Fact yesterday:

“173 years ago on this day, Edgar Allen Poe’s famous poem “The Raven” was first published in the New York Evening Mirror.”

Obviously, Edgar Allen Poe has a great significance to the Baltimore community, as does this particular poem, The Raven. I know I don’t need to spell it out considering those reading Russell Street Report are aware of the blatantly obvious connection but uh…
