Rough shape is an understatement for the situation currently facing the Baltimore Ravens.
Not only is superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson headed to injured reserve to undergo surgery on his right thumb, backup Tyler Huntley is also set to miss time with a toe injury. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano will make his first NFL start on Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars with Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis next in line.
The Jaguars are entering Week 9 with a 5-2 record and top-10 units on both sides of the ball. Their clearest weakness is their pass defense, providing a glimmer of hope for Fagnano’s NFL debut.
