Ravens vs Giants: James Proche is OUT

In a must-win Week 16 game against the New York Giants, the Ravens will have two starters sitting out of today's matchup. Both Mark Ingram, who started during the early portion of the regular season, and rookie wide receiver/punt returner James Proche are healthy scratches this afternoon.

This is a very interesting move as the Ravens may be looking for more speed on special teams. Proche has been starter up until today and has put up less than desirable numbers at the position. He’s averaging a career 8.6 yards per return average.

Alternatives for the position may include the likes of Marquise Brown, Devin Duvernay, and Willie Snead as all three have practiced fielding punts this season, per Aaron Kasinitz.
