The Baltimore Ravens have traded linebacker and 2016 second-round pick Kamalei Correa to the Tennessee Titans, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Correa had shown bursts of speed and power in run defense and pass rushing situations in the preseason.
It is likely the Ravens traded Correa to avoid having to cut him and get nothing for him. Matthew Judon and Tyus Bowser were both ahead of Correa on Baltimore's depth chart. The Ravens also have Terrell Suggs, Za'Darius Smith and Tim Williams on the roster at the other outside linebacker position.
Correa leaves behind $1.
