Ravens sign DE Derek Wolfe to a one-year deal

After the Ravens and Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Michael Brockers failed to renegotiate following an independent doctors’ results regarding his ankle, Baltimore turned their attention to former Denver Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe.

Not only is this a good move for the Ravens, it comes at a significant discount when compared to the three-year, $30 million deal Brockers was originally agreed to.

As for Wolfe, the man is coming off his best season yet with 7.0 sacks in 12 games. He notched 12 total QB hits and totaled 34 combined tackles (23 solo).
